to The Center of Cyber Logistics
The
Center of Cyber Logistics (aka Cyber Logistics Research Center)
is a research center under the Li & Fung Institute of Supply
Chain Management & Logistics since October 2006.
Before that, the center began as a joint effort
of academicians from the
Chinese University of Hong Kong
and the City University of Hong
Kong. The center
has the expertise in information technology, management sciences
and economics.
The Center of Cyber Logistics is committed to work closely with
the stakeholders in Hong Kong logistics industry so as to enhance
the competitiveness of the sector in the new cyber era. Those stakeholders
include freight forwarders, shippers, warehousing providers, carriers,
terminal operators, other logistics service providers and the SAR
government.
Mission

Conduct academic and applied research in logistics issues
- Facilitate technological knowledge advancement for the logistics
industry
- Promote knowledge exchange between academia and practitioners

Highlight the role of logistics industry towards Hong Kong economy
- Apply latest technological innovation onto business practices
- Promote local logistics industry to the global standardized digital

The
Center of Cyber Logistics (or Cyber Logistics Research Center),

in early 2000 affiliated with the Department
of Decision Sciences & Managerial Economics (DSE), Faculty
of Business Administration, The
Chinese University of Hong Kong and Department

of Business, The City University
of Hong Kong
