The growth rate of nominal estimates of Expenditure-based GDP fluctuated between 5 and 30 percent most of the time. It attained the highest value of 31.2 percent in 1979. It is worthwhile to mention that the growth rate has been below 20 percent since 1988. Negative growth rate had been recorded in 1998 and 1999.
