The number of main telephone lines increased steadily over past 10 years. The number of business lines increased by 96%. The number of residential lines increased by 27.4%. Total number of lines increased by 51.2%. It is interesting to note that there was a small drop of 2.2% of residential lines in 2001 when compared with 2000.
